Prospective Undergraduate Students

Welcome to the Department of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The Landscape Architecture program at Rutgers offers a four-year undergraduate professional design curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. The professional program is nationally accredited by the American Society of Landscape Architects. Course offerings cover a diverse range of subjects including site planning and design, design implementation, computer-aided design, graphic communication, horticulture, plant ecology, and architecture.

For the sequencing and description of courses see the Environmental Planning and Design Curriculum. (Note that the accredited Landscape Architecture curriculum is an option within Environmental Planning and Design.)

In addition, we welcome international students.  The Center for International Faculty and Student Services can provide useful information regarding the process of application for visas and other paperwork for international students.
